Information

Complete the form by listing your name, mailing and permanent address, sex, place of birth and birth date. You will also need to state your social security number, marital status and other personal information. Providing your parents’ names, birth dates, and places of birth is also required. Review the completed form to make sure all of the information is correct.

Review

In order to start the application process, you need to present documents that verify your birth of origin and nationality. Certified birth certificates, medical records, an old passport, or school records are sufficient to prove nationality. If you are a citizen of a foreign country, you can provide certificates of citizenship or a certificate of naturalization. Non-U. S. Citizens can also present birth records or passports issued by their country.

Identification

Provide proof of your identity with a driver’s license or an old passport. Government employee identification cards and military identification can also be submitted. The certificate of citizenship or naturalization is an acceptable form of identification. If you do not have any documentation verifying your identity, you can bring a person who has known you for at least two years to the processing facility. The person will be required to prove his identity and sign an Affidavit of Identifying Witness.

Photos

A current color photograph will be needed for your book or card. The picture needs to be an unobstructed full view of the front of your face. Postal offices and other locations provide standard sized pictures that fit the State Department’s requirements. Wearing a hat, scarf, sunglasses or other accessories that block the face are only permissible if they are worn for religious or medical purposes.

Fees

The State Department charges different processing fees for a passport book and a passport card. The major difference between a book and card is that a card can only be used when traveling to Caribbean countries, Mexico or Canada. A book is a valid from of documentation when traveling to any country. The book and card will have your color photograph and list a physical description, your name, and place of citizenship. Major credit cards are an acceptable form of payment. The fees can also be paid by using cashier’s checks, traveler’s checks, personal check or money order. The checks or money orders should be payable to the Department of State.

Agencies

Go to an acceptance facility, agency or post office to submit your completed expedited pasport application and documentation. Contact the U. S. Embassy or consulate in the country where you are located if you are outside of the country. The representative reviewing your materials will let you know if everything is sufficient. The representative can also answer questions you have. Going to a regional agency is the better option if you need the materials administered in a short period of time. An appointment can be set to expedite the process for you.

Landscape

During that period of isolation, the land of New Zealand developed a stunning array of both animal and plant life. Notably, New Zealand is home to large number of unique bird species, most of which become extinct after the arrival of humans. Due to the moderate maritime climate around the islands, most of the land in New Zealand is covered in expansive forests. New Zealand is a fantastic country to visit for any nature enthusiast.

Culture

The mostly rural life in early New Zealand has given the country on image of being rugged and industrious. In the early 1960s, however, higher education standards become more prominent and cities started to quickly expand. Urban culture began to take over as most of the citizens currently residing in New Zealand do so in large cities. Even so, the vast majority of New Zealand’s art, literature and film have mostly rural themes.

Sites

New Zealand offers a wealth of national parks, rural areas, and other attractions that are well worth a visit. The Abel Tasman National Park offer golden sand beaches, kayaking and a beautiful coastal biking track. The Tongariro National Park is famous for having three volcanoes, two ski fields, and one of the most popular hiking trails in the whole country. Another great area for tourists to visit is the Coromandel Peninsula. Only an hour away from the capital city of Auckland, this rugged coastline has plenty of beaches and hiking opportunities.

Passport Requirements

With a valid United States passport you are able to stay in New Zealand for up to three months. However, with exception of Australians and permanent residents, gaining entry as a visitor does not allow for employment in New Zealand. If visiting as a tourist you must present a return ticket or evidence of continued travel to enter New Zealand. If you do not have this you will be told to purchase such proof at the airport to be allowed to check in. More information about the minimum requirements of travel documents is readily available online. Get an overnight pass port if you need one.

The web went nuts yesterday after news was confirmed that Chris Brown would indeed be on Rihanna’s “Birthday Cake (Remix)” (dropping next week), with official word that a video was shot for the track as well. The singer had been spotted in LA the night before at a party RiRi threw for her birthday, being more than just friends with Breezy and much speculation surfaced about what exactly was going on at the intimate event.

Now whether or not they are back together and the music they’ll be making is one thing, but here’s my issue.

Yes – I think we can all agree that what happened 3 years ago (February 2009) was horrible and unacceptable no matter what the situation was, that being said doesn’t Chris Brown deserve forgiveness at some point?

He paid his dues to the legal system, made numerous apologies mixed with blunders to the public, even made a bunch of songs apologizing as well, oh and crying at the BET Awards. What’s considered enough in the court of public opinion?

Country singer Miranda Lambert wasn’t pleased with Chris Brown performing at the Grammys nor with him winning, she even referenced the “Gunpowder and Lead,” song she wrote about domestic abuse):

I totally understand the why she would feel that way, but again back to my original point – when is it enough? There is no question that musically he’s made the contributions deserving of the award and a spot (2 Performances) at the Grammys.

The other question would be, should his criminal offences play a role in how he’s dealt with in terms of making music? If that’s the case half the artist at the Grammys wouldn’t be there, not just Rappers & R&B artists either – And if they do play a role, what’s the expiration date?

Now admittedly it’s quite sad when dozens of women flock to Twitter after Chris Brown’s performance and winning a Grammy to make tweets about it being OK for Chris Brown to beat them, but who’s fault is that?

Chris and RiRi are not role models no matter how many people look to them to be so, and please spare me the bullshit argument of them being in the public eye and having a responsibility to the public….Yaaaaaawn!

They’re 2 regular people who have talent and attained fame, last time I checked that wasn’t the definition of a role model. And if you think there role models then your parents, schools and society as failed you or you failed them – take your pick.

Plus I don’t know why so many of us are surprised, this happens everyday in real life – girls going back to the men that abused them, it’s not OK but that’s the reality. The first time it happens it’s on the guy, the second time it happens it’s a the girls fault for going back, plain and single.

I said this a while back they would be back together in some way, shape or form once Chris Brown’s career bounced back, on top of that Rihanna openly admitted how impressed she was with the way he bounced back.

No matter what I say I know most of you who read this are going to take upon yourselves to be judge, jury and executioner.

There can be many possible outcomes in the court of public perception, but is this a good move or bad move for Rihanna? Do you think she will receive backlash or will the people welcome the reconciliation? Is she obligated to set an example for young girls who might have through the same ordeal?

Or is it simply none of our business and we shouldn’t care either way?

The new album is called Weather Systems, and is out through Kscope on April 23. Produced by Christer-Andre Cederberg, the album was recorded in Liverpool, North Wales and Oslo. It features the line-up of Vincent Cavanagh (lead vocals/guitar),  Daniel Cavanagh (lead guitar/keyboards/vocals), Lee Douglas (vocals), Jamie Cavanagh (bass) and John Douglas (drums).

This is the band’s ninth studio album and, says Daniel: “It feels like we are at a creative peak right now, and this album reflects that. Everything from the production to the writing to the performances are a step up from our last album (2010’s We’re Here Because We’re Here)”.

Michaele Salahi, who starred in Real Housewives Of DC, walked out on husband Tareq last September so that she could be with Schon. Now the apparently furious hubbie has launched a whopping million law suit. He claims to have been ‘physically, emotionally and financially ruined’ by this action. Not only has he named his estranged wife in the suit, but also the band.

He further insists that this much publicised split has actually benefitted Journey:

“Journey was currently touring the country and the concerts were not selling out,” the complaint states. “Having been involved in the reality television business for several years, the defendants knew that a public affair would generate interest in both of them and immediate income for Neal Schon and Journey.”

Just for your information, the Salahis shot to fame in 2009 when they gatecrased a state dinner at the White House.
